Job Description
We are at the precipice of a technological paradigm shift. Nexus Horizon Labs is seeking a visionary Lead AI & Spatial Computing Engineer to define the architecture for the 2026 era. You will bridge the gap between Generative AI and immersive spatial environments, building systems that feel less like software and more like extensions of human consciousness.
In this role, you will lead a high-performance team in developing state-of-the-art neural networks tailored for edge-computing spatial devices, ensuring seamless integration with next-generation AR/VR ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable neural network models optimized for low-latency spatial computing environments.
- Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) with spatial user interfaces to create context-aware, responsive AI agents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX, Hardware) to define technical requirements for immersive hardware prototypes.
- Optimize model inference for resource-constrained edge devices without compromising on accuracy.
- Research and prototype novel algorithms in computer vision and human-computer interaction.
- Establish best practices for data governance and model security in decentralized computing environments.
Qualifications
- PhD or MS in Computer Science, Physics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 8+ years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, or AI research.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA.
- Proven track record of implementing and shipping production-grade AI systems.
- Experience with spatial computing frameworks (e.g., ARKit, OpenXR) or 3D rendering APIs (OpenGL, DirectX).
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, calculus, and stochastic processes.
