Job Description
We are at the precipice of a technological singularity. As we look toward 2026, the boundaries between human cognition and artificial intelligence are dissolving. Nexus Future Systems is seeking a visionary Lead AI Architect to design the infrastructure of tomorrow. In this role, you won't just be maintaining models; you will be architecting the next generation of autonomous agents, neural interfaces, and sentient software ecosystems that will define the 2026 landscape.
Join a team of elite engineers and futurists in the heart of San Francisco, working on projects that are currently theoretical but will soon be the standard of reality.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable, self-evolving AI systems designed for the 2026 operational landscape.
- Lead the research and development of Agentic AI workflows that can autonomously solve complex, multi-step problems.
- Optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) for edge computing and real-time inference in dynamic environments.
- Establish ethical frameworks and safety protocols to ensure alignment with human values in autonomous systems.
- Collaborate with quantum computing specialists to integrate quantum algorithms into classical AI pipelines.
- Define the technical roadmap for the company’s transition into the post-silicon era of computing.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead architectural role.
- Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Rust for high-performance computing.
- Proven track record of deploying state-of-the-art LLMs (GPT-4 level or beyond) in production environments.
- Experience with federated learning, reinforcement learning, and graph neural networks.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, adversarial machine learning, and data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
