Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Define and oversee the technical vision and architecture for our flagship AI platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry standards.
- System Design: Design scalable, high-performance microservices and distributed systems capable of processing petabytes of real-time data.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, conducting code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical training sessions.
- Performance Optimization: Drive initiatives to optimize application latency, memory usage, and overall system throughput.
- Research & Implementation: Stay ahead of the curve by integrating the latest advancements in machine learning and web technologies into our production stack.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and data scientists to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.
- SEO & Infrastructure: Ensure that backend architecture supports frontend SEO best practices and high-speed content delivery networks.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent extensive professional experience).
- Experience: 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a lead or architect role.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in Python, Rust, or Go, with strong proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js) and modern frontend frameworks.
- AI/ML Knowledge: Proven experience designing systems that integrate machine learning models into web applications.
- System Design: Demonstrated ability to design resilient, fault-tolerant distributed systems and cloud-native applications (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with a track record of solving complex technical challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
