Your Role:
As a Junior Web Developer, you will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of our client-facing websites and web applications. You will follow coding standards, participate in code reviews, and help troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, high-quality web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes into pixel-perfect, interactive interfaces.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across multiple browsers and devices to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews to contribute to team goals.
- Assist in database management and API integration tasks under the guidance of senior developers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to propose improvements to existing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive web design principles.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular is highly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of server-side languages like Node.js, Python, or PHP is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and collaborative workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
