Responsibilities
- Code Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python, Java, or JavaScript to support our core trading systems.
- Learning & Growth: Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and technical workshops to rapidly upskill in modern software engineering practices.
- Problem Solving: Debug and resolve software issues under the guidance of senior engineers to ensure system stability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Testing: Assist in writing unit and integration tests to maintain high code quality and reliability.
- Documentation: Contribute to technical documentation and help onboard new team members.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience.
- Technical Basics: Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript).
- Passion for Tech: Demonstrated interest in software development, even if it's from personal projects or academic coursework.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with remote teams.
- Tools: Basic understanding of Git, version control, and RESTful APIs.
- Reliability: Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
