Responsibilities
- Develop Robust Applications: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript using modern frameworks.
- Debug & Optimize: Identify, diagnose, and resolve software bugs and performance issues to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other developers to define feature requirements and technical solutions.
- Code Reviews: Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality, security standards, and adherence to best practices.
- Database Management: Assist in designing, querying, and maintaining databases to store and retrieve application data efficiently.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including API documentation and internal wikis.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one backend programming language.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems into logical steps.
- Tools & Version Control: Basic understanding of Git version control and familiarity with development tools like VS Code or IntelliJ.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Remote Work Readiness: Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of managing time effectively in a remote work environment.
