Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of high-quality software applications and features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to contribute to team goals.
- Debug and resolve software issues, performing root cause analysis to ensure system stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, Product, QA) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to technical documentation and maintain version control using Git.
- Engage in continuous learning by attending workshops, hackathons, and internal training sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Basic understanding of programming concepts (variables, loops, functions, and data structures).
- Familiarity with at least one web development language such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex problems into manageable steps.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player attitude.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Relocation assistance is available for candidates not currently residing in the Omaha area.
