Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain: Design, code, and test high-quality software solutions for our equity trading platforms using modern programming languages.
- Collaborate: Work closely with senior engineers, product managers, and designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Debug & Optimize: Identify and resolve software defects, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities in existing systems.
- API Integration: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to ensure seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
- Code Review: Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Documentation: Write clear and concise technical documentation, including API docs and architectural diagrams.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Programming: Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or Go).
- Web Technologies: Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular).
- Databases: Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and database design principles.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
