Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of scalable backend systems for our equity options trading platform.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Python and Java under the guidance of senior architects.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate market data into actionable software features.
- Debug and resolve issues in real-time trading environments to ensure minimal latency.
- Conduct research on emerging financial technologies and programming languages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.
- Familiarity with SQL and database management systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of financial concepts (stocks, options, futures) is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
