Responsibilities
- Design, code, and maintain high-performance software applications for financial markets.
- Analyze and optimize code for speed and scalability in high-volume trading environments.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to model equity option pricing strategies.
- Participate in agile development sprints, code reviews, and architectural discussions.
- Debug complex issues and ensure system reliability during market hours.
- Write unit tests and documentation to support maintainability.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with Python, Java, or C++ and web technologies (React/Node.js).
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Basic knowledge of financial concepts, specifically equity options, is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies in a fast-paced fintech environment.
