As a Junior Software Engineer, you will work directly with senior architects to design scalable solutions, contribute to our core platform, and learn the ins and outs of modern software development. This is an ideal role for someone ready to transition from learning to building.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop, test, and deploy high-quality software features using modern frameworks.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies to continuously improve team processes and product quality.
- Debug and resolve software issues efficiently, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Assist in the design and implementation of database schemas and API integrations.
- Contribute to technical documentation and help onboard new team members.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and incorporate them into our tech stack.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#.
- Basic understanding of front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) and back-end technologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and GitFlow.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player attitude.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
