Location: Jacksonville, FL (On-site hybrid schedule available).
Responsibilities
- Code Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python, JavaScript, or Java under the guidance of senior developers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Debugging & Testing: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects; write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and concise technical documentation for code changes and API integrations.
- Agile Participation: Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews.
- Learning: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to contribute innovative ideas.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Programming Knowledge: Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in at least one major programming language (JavaScript, Python, or Java).
- Front-End Basics: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principles.
- Version Control: Experience using Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
