Responsibilities
- Assist in Development: Collaborate with senior developers to design, code, and test backend systems for equity options pricing and analysis tools.
- Data Pipeline Support: Help maintain and optimize data ingestion pipelines that process real-time market data.
- Code Quality: Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following industry standards and financial compliance regulations.
- Testing & QA: Participate in the quality assurance process to identify bugs and ensure the accuracy of financial calculations.
- Research Assistance: Support the research team in testing new trading algorithms and evaluating market volatility models.
- Documentation: Update technical documentation and contribute to the team's knowledge base regarding financial software architecture.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Technical Basics: Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, C++, or Java) and basic understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Interest in Finance: Strong desire to learn about Equity Options, financial markets, and quantitative analysis.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to break down complex problems into manageable solutions.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-player attitude.
