Responsibilities
- Develop Core Systems: Collaborate with the backend team to design and implement scalable software solutions for equity options pricing engines.
- Data Analysis: Assist in processing large datasets of market trends, volatility surfaces, and option chains to identify trading opportunities.
- Code Maintenance: Participate in code reviews and refactor existing codebases to improve performance and readability under mentorship.
- Testing & Debugging: Write unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability of our trading algorithms and minimize latency.
- UI/UX Support: Work with frontend developers to create intuitive dashboards that visualize complex financial data for traders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Python or C++ is highly desirable; knowledge of SQL and basic data structures is required.
- Mathematical Aptitude: Strong understanding of basic calculus and statistics is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Ability to break down complex problems into manageable steps and learn new technologies quickly.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Interest in Finance: A genuine interest in the stock market, options trading, or financial technology.
