Responsibilities
- Assist in Data Collection: Gather and organize raw data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Data Cleaning & Preparation: Process and clean data sets to prepare them for analysis using SQL and Excel.
- Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain weekly and monthly performance reports for management.
- Visualization: Create clear, concise data visualizations (dashboards) to help stakeholders understand key metrics.
- Collaborative Analysis: Work alongside senior analysts to identify trends and provide actionable business insights.
- Database Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the integrity of our internal databases and reporting systems.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: No prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training for enthusiastic learners.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) is required.
- SQL Knowledge: Familiarity with SQL queries is a plus but not mandatory.
- Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to the Oakland, CA area.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
