Responsibilities
- Data Processing: Clean, organize, and preprocess raw data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis.
- Visualization: Design and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to present key metrics to stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets.
- Reporting: Generate regular performance reports and executive summaries that drive business strategy and operational efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, finance) to understand data requirements and provide technical support.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data pipelines and analytical methodologies to ensure knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in SQL (querying databases) and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP). Knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
- Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Location: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Illinois or Georgia residents preferred).
