As a Junior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in translating complex data into actionable business insights.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Assist senior analysts in creating interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Perform basic statistical analysis and trend identification to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Document data processes and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Identify areas for process improvement and propose data-driven solutions.
- Conduct regular data audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated passion for data analysis, even if not professionally applied yet.
- Basic understanding of SQL, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and data visualization concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
- Willingness to relocate to the Chicago, IL area (Relocation assistance provided).
