Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess raw data from various sources to ensure high-quality datasets for analysis.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that influence business performance.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Write efficient SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Create comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
- Stay current with industry trends, new tools, and best practices in data analysis and visualization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with SQL for database querying is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous internship experience in data analysis or a data-related capstone project is a plus.
