Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, scrub, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Visualization: Create intuitive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical Analysis: Perform statistical tests and trend analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations) to understand their data needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data pipelines, methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
- Support: Assist senior analysts in managing data warehouses and optimizing query performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and basic knowledge of SQL.
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or R is a plus but not required for the entry-level role.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about data-driven questions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Tools: Basic understanding of data visualization concepts (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
