What You Will Do:
As a Junior Data Analyst, your daily tasks will involve a mix of technical work and strategic thinking. You will be the bridge between our data and our business stakeholders, ensuring that everyone has the insights they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Data Cleaning & Preparation: Collect, clean, and validate datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform descriptive and inferential statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets.
- Visualization: Develop intuitive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to present findings to stakeholders clearly.
- SQL Proficiency: Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineers to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analytical processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of SQL and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). Familiarity with Python or R is a plus.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot errors and ensure high-quality data output.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated analytical thinking and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
