Responsibilities
- Data Cleaning & Preparation: Assist in gathering, cleaning, and preparing large datasets for analysis to ensure high data quality and accuracy.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to present findings to stakeholders clearly.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform basic statistical analysis and trend identification to support business decision-making processes.
- Database Management: Support the extraction of data from SQL databases and help maintain documentation for data pipelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Finance) to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve data collection processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and a basic understanding of SQL queries.
- Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker) is a plus.
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a quantitative field.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex data sets.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and precision in data handling.
