Responsibilities
- Data Cleaning & Preparation: Collect, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker to track KPIs and performance metrics.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data.
- Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for management, translating technical findings into business-friendly insights.
- Database Management: Assist in maintaining our SQL databases and ensuring efficient data retrieval processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineers to define data requirements and solution architectures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with spreadsheet software (Excel/Google Sheets) is required.
- Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik) is a strong plus.
- Programming: Basic knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving.
