In this role, you will support the Security Operations Center (SOC) by monitoring security events, analyzing threat intelligence, and responding to incidents. You will work closely with senior analysts to identify vulnerabilities and implement defensive measures, ensuring our clients' data remains uncompromised.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Investigate and triage potential security incidents to determine the scope and severity.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls and firewalls.
- Conduct routine vulnerability scanning and risk assessments.
- Document security findings, incidents, and remediation steps in the SIEM.
- Participate in security awareness training and phishing simulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems and command-line interfaces.
- Basic knowledge of malware analysis and threat hunting concepts.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- CompTIA Security+ certification is a plus but not required.
