Responsibilities
- Incident Monitoring: Assist in monitoring security alerts and responding to potential threats in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Vulnerability Management: Support the identification and remediation of security vulnerabilities within our network architecture.
- Security Audits: Participate in internal security audits and compliance checks (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and detailed reports regarding security incidents and resolutions.
- Threat Analysis: Analyze phishing attempts and malware to improve our defense strategies.
- Training Support: Assist in conducting security awareness training for employees.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Interest Level: A strong passion for cybersecurity and protecting digital assets.
- Technical Basics: Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
