Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar).
- Assist senior analysts in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed logs for audit compliance.
- Participate in threat hunting exercises to identify potential risks before they escalate.
- Learn and apply basic network protocols and firewall configurations.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure secure infrastructure deployment.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Experience: 0 years of professional experience required. Recent graduates or career changers are highly encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems and basic networking concepts.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a desire to learn.
- Availability: Must be willing to complete a 3-month intensive training program.
