Responsibilities
- Assist in the monitoring, detection, and response to security alerts and incidents.
- Support the IT department in maintaining the integrity and security of our network infrastructure.
- Conduct basic vulnerability assessments and security audits to identify potential risks.
- Document security incidents, policy violations, and system changes accurately.
- Participate in security awareness training and help implement internal security protocols.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to improve our security posture and incident response strategies.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and basic scripting languages is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Willingness to obtain and maintain any required security clearances.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
