Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM platform.
- Conduct routine vulnerability assessments and assist in penetration testing activities.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Document security events, incidents, and audit findings in accordance with compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot connectivity issues and secure network architecture.
- Stay updated on the latest threat intelligence and cybersecurity trends to proactively identify risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Network+ are highly preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and basic Linux administration.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- A genuine curiosity for technology and a passion for problem-solving.
