Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in SIEM systems (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Assist in the investigation and remediation of security incidents, including log analysis and forensics.
- Conduct vulnerability scans and security assessments to identify weaknesses in network infrastructure and applications.
- Support the implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure system configurations.
- Document security findings, incidents, and system changes accurately and concisely.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, OSI Model, DNS, HTTP).
- CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent knowledge is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
