Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network technical issues for end-users.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and peripherals.
- Provide timely and professional remote and on-site technical support.
- Assist in the management of IT inventory, including asset tracking and software licensing.
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and backups to ensure data integrity.
- Document all technical interactions and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve service delivery and user satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent military service experience).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as LANs, IP addressing, and DNS.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems logically and efficiently.
- Willingness to obtain industry-recognized IT certifications (CompTIA A+ preferred).
