Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems for employees.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues via phone, email, and remote access tools.
- Perform routine system updates, patch management, and security scans.
- Manage the IT helpdesk ticketing system, prioritizing requests based on business impact.
- Conduct onboarding IT orientations for new hires, setting up their devices and accounts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets and office equipment.
- Collaborate with the team to implement new technologies and improve IT workflows.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components (CPU, RAM, Storage, etc.).
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
- Willingness to obtain industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) during employment.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
