Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems for internal clients.
- Provide exceptional technical support via phone, email, and in-person to resolve IT issues efficiently.
- Monitor network performance and respond to alerts to ensure system uptime and security.
- Manage and maintain inventory of IT assets, including laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Collaborate with senior technicians to diagnose complex technical problems and implement solutions.
- Document technical procedures, ticket resolutions, and system configurations.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components (CPU, RAM, Storage) and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and troubleshoot step-by-step.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced IT environment.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace for remote training components.
