Responsibilities
- Technical Assistance: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support via phone, email, and in-person for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Hardware Management: Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- System Administration: Assist in the deployment of operating systems, patch management, and software updates.
- Ticket Management: Log, track, and prioritize IT service requests using our ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow or JIRA).
- Network Support: Troubleshoot basic connectivity issues and support local area network (LAN) operations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions to improve internal processes.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Experience: No prior professional IT experience required, but internship or personal tech support experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of computer components, operating systems (Windows 10/11), and networking concepts.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends as needed.
