Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer workstations and network equipment.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of IT assets and supplies.
- Document technical procedures, incidents, and resolutions in the knowledge base.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on system upgrades and maintenance projects.
- Ensure compliance with company IT security policies and standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in Computer Science or IT is a plus).
- Basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical reasoning abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to obtain industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+).
- Previous internship or volunteer experience in IT is highly desirable.
