Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot & Resolve: Assist in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for end-users in a timely manner.
- System Maintenance: Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Helpdesk Support: Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, and hardware inventory.
- Network Assistance: Collaborate with the network team to monitor system performance and troubleshoot connectivity problems.
- Security Protocols: Assist in enforcing IT security policies and ensuring compliance with company standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus.
- Technical Basics: Familiarity with Windows operating systems (10/11) and basic knowledge of networking concepts.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical problems creatively and efficiently.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Soft Skills: Eagerness to learn, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ certification or similar is highly desirable but not mandatory for this entry-level role.
