Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues via phone and ticketing systems.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, printers, and mobile devices.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential security vulnerabilities or bottlenecks.
- Maintain accurate records of all technical issues, resolutions, and asset inventories in the internal knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the IT team to facilitate software updates, patches, and system upgrades.
- Conduct on-site support for internal meetings and company events to ensure seamless technology operations.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and a general understanding of Mac OS.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues methodically.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to different office locations within the Austin metro area.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends during critical system maintenance windows.
