Responsibilities
- Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support to employees via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and peripherals (laptops, printers, mobile devices).
- Troubleshoot software installation, OS updates, and network connectivity issues.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the IT Service Desk system.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to identify system improvements and automate routine tasks.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies and data protection standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Mac), and network concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Willingness to obtain industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) within 12 months.
- Reliable transportation to the Albuquerque office.
