Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware/software issues via phone, email, and remote assistance
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices
- Document all support tickets and resolutions in IT service management systems
- Collaborate with senior engineers on complex troubleshooting and system upgrades
- Participate in cybersecurity best practices training and awareness campaigns
- Assist with onboarding new employees and IT asset management
- Complete monthly technical certifications and skill development modules
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in IT preferred
- Basic understanding of Windows OS, networking concepts, and cloud services
- Customer service experience with strong problem-solving abilities
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent knowledge (training provided)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and remote desktop tools
- Ability to lift 30 lbs for equipment handling
- Valid North Carolina driver's license for occasional site visits
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
