Responsibilities
- Provide tier-1 technical support to internal and external users via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop/laptop hardware, peripherals, and operating systems
- Assist with network infrastructure setup including switches, routers, and wireless access points
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures
- Participate in system monitoring, maintenance, and security patch management
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on complex troubleshooting and system upgrades
- Complete certification training tracks (CompTIA A+, Network+) within first 6 months
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in IT preferred
- Basic knowledge of Windows/macOS operating systems and networking concepts
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service mindset
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and work in varied physical environments
- Valid Nebraska driver's license for occasional on-site support
- Willingness to complete company-paid certification programs
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
