Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware/software issues via phone, email, and in-person
- Deploy and configure desktops, laptops, peripherals, and network infrastructure
- Document IT incidents, resolutions, and asset inventory in ticketing systems
- Collaborate with senior engineers on network security protocols and system updates
- Train end-users on software applications and security best practices
- Assist with server maintenance, backup systems, and cloud service management
- Participate in cross-departmental IT projects and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in IT/Cybersecurity preferred
- Basic understanding of Windows OS, networking concepts, and hardware components
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service aptitude
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and work in varying physical environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (occasional site visits)
- CompTIA A+ certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
