The Role:
You will be the first point of contact for our internal and external clients, ensuring seamless access to our technology infrastructure. Your expertise will be critical in maintaining high uptime and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Technical Troubleshooting: Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripheral devices.
- Incident Management: Log, track, and resolve IT service requests using our ticketing system (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) with a focus on first-call resolution.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on workstations, servers, and mobile devices to ensure optimal performance and security.
- User Education: Conduct training sessions and create documentation to help users understand new technologies and best practices.
- Hardware Deployment: Assist in the procurement, setup, and configuration of new employee workstations and peripherals.
- Network Support: Assist in the monitoring of network performance and troubleshooting connectivity issues within the office.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Desktop Support roles.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals is a strong plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and remote support tools (TeamViewer, LogMeIn).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
