Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Ticket Management: Monitor and prioritize IT helpdesk tickets (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) to ensure timely resolution and SLA compliance.
- Hardware Deployment: Assemble, configure, and deploy new workstations, laptops, and peripherals for employees.
- Network Maintenance: Assist in maintaining local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi connectivity, and ensuring secure network access.
- Software Management: Manage software installations, updates, and license compliance across the organization.
- User Training: Conduct onboarding sessions and provide ongoing training to staff on best practices and new software tools.
- Security Compliance: Assist in enforcing security policies and performing regular audits of physical and digital assets.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a similar technical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, and Active Directory.
- Tools: Experience with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, LogMeIn) and ticketing systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential IT issues.
