Responsibilities
- Design & Optimization: Develop, refine, and test complex prompts for various LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude) to maximize output quality and relevance.
- Model Fine-tuning: Collaborate with data scientists to prepare training data and fine-tune models for specific industry verticals.
- Evaluation: Establish rigorous evaluation metrics and testing frameworks to measure prompt performance and output hallucination rates.
- Workflow Integration: Integrate prompt engineering best practices into our software development lifecycle (SDLC) and documentation.
- Research: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in prompt engineering techniques, including Chain-of-Thought prompting and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and UX designers to create intuitive AI-driven user experiences.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in writing, editing, or optimizing prompts for AI models.
- Technical Background: Strong understanding of NLP concepts, machine learning workflows, and Python scripting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related field is preferred.
- Tools: Proficiency with tools such as OpenAI API, LangChain, or Hugging Face.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues and iterate rapidly on solutions.
