Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough incident investigations, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts for security breaches.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing coordination, and risk analysis to strengthen our security posture.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST).
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including playbooks, runbooks, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement secure network architectures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or a related role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python or PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
