Responsibilities
- Tier 1 & 2 Support: Provide expert technical assistance via phone, email, and in-person for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently, minimizing downtime for users.
- Asset Management: Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of end-user devices (laptops, printers, mobiles).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, requests, and resolutions in the Service Desk system.
- Software Installation: Install, update, and patch operating systems and business applications as required.
- Communication: Act as a primary point of contact, translating complex technical jargon into clear instructions for non-technical staff.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in a Help Desk, Technical Support, or IT Help Desk role.
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems; familiarity with Active Directory is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and superior communication skills.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple tickets and meet SLA deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification is a plus.
