Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligning with emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype solutions for next-gen consumer and enterprise applications
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with potential market impact by 2026
- Develop ethical frameworks for AI deployment and autonomous systems integration
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align technological strategy with business objectives
- Present futuristic concepts to investors and stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives
- Manage R&D budgets exceeding $5M for experimental technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven track record in emerging tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neural networks, blockchain, or sustainable tech
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation (IEEE, ACM, or equivalent)
- Experience scaling technology teams from 5 to 50+ professionals
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to secure $10M+ in R&D funding or partnerships
- Portfolio showcasing implemented futuristic solutions (patents, products, or open-source projects)
