Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for enterprise clients using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops with Fortune 500 executives and R&D teams
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis in emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Translate complex technical concepts into strategic business recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
- Manage innovation portfolio including pilot projects, partnerships, and technology scouting
- Present strategic insights to executive boards and investor groups through compelling visual narratives
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, conference keynotes, and industry reports
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record developing long-term tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum computing, biotech)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, or Future Studies (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Experience managing innovation portfolios with $5M+ budgets
