Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps by analyzing emerging trends in AI, biotech, and space exploration
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and market gaps
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align strategic initiatives with long-term vision
- Produce thought leadership reports and presentations for industry conferences
- Manage innovation pipeline through prototyping and rapid experimentation cycles
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of forward-thinking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology, Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, R&D, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, neurotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of forecasting market shifts with 85%+ accuracy
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ technology commercialization successes
