Responsibilities
- Anticipate global technological, economic, and societal trends through rigorous research and data modeling
- Develop strategic frameworks for 2026+ market positioning and product roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future scenarios and opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations on emerging paradigms
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurist networks and academic partnerships
- Advise R&D teams on disruptive technologies and long-term innovation pipelines
- Quantify future risks and opportunities through scenario planning and impact analysis
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into enterprise strategy
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leader in futurism or strategic foresight
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., ACIF, APF) preferred
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on future trends
