Responsibilities
- Develop predictive market models and technology adoption forecasts for 2026
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with design, engineering, and data science teams
- Curate emerging tech ecosystems (Web4, biocomputing, neural interfaces)
- Author strategic whitepapers and thought leadership for industry publications
- Build patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations
- Advise C-suite on exponential risk/opportunity scenarios
- Manage $5M+ innovation lab budgets and vendor ecosystems
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation or futurist consulting
- Published peer-reviewed research in foresight methodologies
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching category-defining products
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent
- Fluency in scenario planning and Delphi techniques
- Experience with patent strategy and IP commercialization
- Global network with Fortune 500 innovation leaders
