Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy across quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neurotech verticals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen consumer interfaces and industrial automation systems
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (Web4, spatial computing, bio-digital convergence)
- Present strategic recommendations to executive board and investor stakeholders quarterly
- Manage $2.5M annual R&D budget with ROI-focused allocation decisions
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other innovation ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or futurism roles with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 market-defining products or services
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology forecasting, and disruption analysis frameworks
- Strong command of emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience at TED Talks, Davos, or equivalent forums
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed innovation journals
